Spa of the Rockies Primps for 10-Year Anniversary with an All New Treatment Menu to Debut at Open House, January 17, from 6 - 8 p.m.

When it comes to hands-on treatments, the Spa of the Rockies at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort has a whole new feel. To commemorate its 10-year anniversary, the public is invited to sample wellness-focused new menu additions at the Spa of the Rockies' Open House on January 17, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Spa of the Rockies’ new treatment menu has been months in the making and is ready for its big reveal; the comprehensive new menu coincides with the spa’s 10th birthday. Much more than a refresh, the new menu is a head-to-toe makeover with an unveiling planned for January 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Spa of the Rockies.

“The Spa of the Rockies’ new menu launch was specifically crafted to bring together best wellness practices informed by the latest scientific innovations with regional history unique to Glenwood Springs and Western Colorado. Treatments also highlight the efficacious properties of our geothermal mineral water,” Spa Director Holleigh Alexander-Ramsey said. “The overarching intention going forward is to provide our guests with services and experiences that deliver deep healing of mind and body, while providing a sense of place that cannot be found in any other location.”

Open house guests will be able to preview the menu by pre-booking mini spa treatments for just $25 each. At the end of the evening, guests will take home a promotional gift of equal value, offsetting the cost of mini-treatments. Pre-booking for the Open House is required and if a cancellation is necessary, guests are kindly asked to please give 48 hours’ notice to allow for re-booking of waitlisted guests. To book Open House mini-treatments, please call 877-947-3331.

Spa of the Rockies Mini-treatments include:

·         Massages: Hemp Intensive Therapy, Mindfulness Face and Neck Massage using gemstones, Peak Performance focusing on personalized range-of-motion techniques

·         Signature experiences: A Walk in the Woods and In the Flow

·         Facials: HydraFacial Express Exfoliation and Advanced Multi-Active Eye Rescue with Chilled Beauty Globes

·         Body treatments: Wild Honey Steam Wrap and Arnica Muscle Cure

Spa industry vendors are also traveling in for the event, including representatives from Kerstin Florian International, Mary’s Nutritionals, Tara Spa Therapies, Intraceuticals and EmerginC.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without food and drink. Adding to the evening’s celebratory mood, the Grill at Glenwood Hot Springs will be serving an assortment of delicious lite-bite appetizers paired with sparkling wines and infused waters. Guests will also have several opportunities throughout the night to tour the Spa of the Rockies and get a peek inside treatment rooms and relaxation areas that occupy two floors of Glenwood Hot Springs’ historic red sandstone bathhouse.

Throughout the evening, guests will also enjoy a variety of retail products and spa treatment promotions. All attendees will receive a spa-themed goodie-bag and will be entered into a raffle drawing for the chance to win even more prizes.

Spa of the Rockies at Glenwood Hot Springs opened in 2008. Over the past 10 years it has been the recipient of numerous industry and local awards for excellence.
