When your New Year's Eve includes a stay and a soak at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, you'll be ringing in the New Year in a truly memorable way. To help you make the most this holiday, we've compiled a list of what's happening not only at the resort, but also in town, along with suggestions for even more things to do.

With Glenwood Hot Springs at the center of your festivities, you can celebrate New Year’s Eve all-day and all-night long! Close out the old year and begin the new one in a place where relaxation and adventure come together like old friends. The geothermal water, with its rejuvenating qualities, is just the ticket on New Year’s Eve, and as a top Colorado adventure town, there’s also plenty to do on dry land.

New Year’s Eve at Glenwood Hot Springs Pool

New Year’s Eve is the one night of the year that Glenwood Hot Springs stays open until 1 p.m. for a pool party unlike any other. Starting at 7 p.m., kids can join in games and contests like crocodile wresting, noodle relay races, cannonball contests, scavenger hunts and much more. At 11 p.m., the pool staff will hand out New Year’s Eve party favors, noisemakers and hats while supplies last. Stick around for a prize drawing that includes giving away an annual Hot Springs Pool pass. In the final moments of 2019, like a spontaneous flash mob, the crowd will erupt in unison to count down the seconds to 2020! Spend the first hour of the New Year soaking in all the good tidings and cheer.

New Year’s Eve in the Town

Celebrations are also happening across the river from Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, where beginning at 6 p.m., the City of Glenwood Springs hosts A Grand New Year on Seventh Street—and an easy stroll for those staying at the Lodge. Along with a photo booth, food vendors and face painting, several bands will be playing; these include The Mixx from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Zach Deputy from 8 to 9:30 p.m. and Ripe from 10:30 to midnight. At 10 pm. look for fireworks to light up the night sky, also visible from the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool!
